This design was driven by the client's
desire for an unusual and energetic workplace within
the constraints of a limited budget. By using inexpensive
materials in unconventional ways, the office becomes
a showplace of space, color, texture, and movement,
while meeting the everyday requirements of the typical
corporate office. Rippled glass portals allow borrowed
light into the open areas. Corrugated fiberglass panels
provide privacy and sound baffling near the open pantry
area. Swirled aluminum laminates create movement, while
the black-out ceiling and shop-lights add an industrial
edge.
