Silynx Communications, Inc. wanted an office
located in Washington, D.C. They design the most
advanced, software based, noise protection headsets for the military.
Silynx wanted their space to be industrial with creative
architectural details thoughout. The reception area has a sealed concrete floor with a black, open exposed ceiling with accents of red and galvanized metal.
Interplan architects designed a brick wall to divide the reception area and the support space.
The back of the wall has a basketball hoop for their employees and Clients. Their conference room is extremely high-tech complete with a round projection screen that simulates the cock pit of an airplane. Interplan custom designed their conference table and metal sliding door.
The break room, used for entertaining Clients as well as employees, contains a table that is attached to the ceiling with cables giving it a “floating”
affect. |
