This physician group requested a clinic design that would consolidate the orthopedic clinical functions with physical therapy activities into one clinical suite.  The design goal was to have separate, yet accessible areas to provide continuous care through an orthopedic event.   The entire process of diagnosis through total healing can be addressed in this facility.   

Interplan designers integrated natural light into many of the patient areas.  Clerestory lights disperse light into the center of the clinic.  The physical therapy area capitalizes on the tall floor to ceiling windows to illuminate the treatment areas.   As considered in all healthcare suites, patient healing is a paramount concern, however the physician group sought to redefine the experience to optimize healing, patient comfort and relieve anxiety.
