Interplan architects used an innovative design approach to renovate this Georgian row-house property that was in considerable disrepair.
The main design goal was to fully protect and preserve the front facade of the property, creating a look of elegance.

The first and second floors were renovated to become the private residence, while the English basement was re-designed to allow it to be rented as an apartment. All of the windows were replaced and the exterior stairs and sidewalks were renovated using brick. The rear of the structure received the most attention. The existing two-story porch was in poor condition and had to be demolished. A new wood porch was designed and the rear yard was developed into a brick-paved patio/parking area.
