Virginia Heart, a cardiovascular care center located in Falls Church, VA wanted their new office space to have a sophisticated, bright, “living room” feel. Finishes were carefully chosen in order to enhance the residential feeling. Wood panels and a monochromatic color scheme were incorporated into the design to assist reducing patient tension and stress. The design scheme encourages ease of transition from the waiting area to the individual patient rooms.

The racetrack layout separates, while unifing the vascular clinic, which occupies 12,000 SF of space from the arrhythmia clinic and administrative areas occupying the other 12,000SF. The facility operates diagnostic facilities including echocardiography, ultra-sonography, nuclear imaging and nuclear stress testing.
