Great design doesn’t start on paper—it starts with the space we work in. As architects and designers, our studio is more than a workplace; it’s a reflection of our values, process, and commitment to thoughtful, purposeful design.
We’re opening the doors to our new office to share the intentional features that shaped it. From core values to material choices and sustainability strategies, each post will explore how the design supports physical and mental well-being while keeping our principles front and center. We hope you’ll follow along as we break down the elements that make our studio both functional and inspiring—beginning with a first look at our Value Wall.
Values Wall Design Feature:
Interplan is built on a foundation of Respect, Creativity, Ownership, Relationships, and Results.
When we set out to design our new office, we saw it as an opportunity to embed our core values directly into the space—not just as abstract ideas, but as tangible, everyday reminders. We wanted these principles to be something we pass by each day, something our team can draw inspiration from, and something our clients can feel the moment they walk through the door.
At our previous office, a Values Wall with raised 3D white lettering over white pivot closet doors became a meaningful feature and a daily reminder of what we stand for. In our new office, we brought that spirit forward. While we’ve made small text updates to reflect our current culture and environment, the core idea remains: a visual connection to our values and a link to the space that helped shape who we are today. We even mocked up our own version of the sign to make sure we were happy with how it would look in the space before we went forward with final approval and the signage moved into production.
