Project Highlights
Interplan transformed an existing two-story, approximately 70,000 SF former broadcasting facility into a new home for Cornet Technology, an electronics engineering and manufacturing company. The renovation converted approximately 12,000 SF of existing office and storage space into specialized workrooms with electrostatic discharge flooring, along with approximately 10,000 SF of former broadcast studio space into a new stockroom. Additional improvements supported office, shipping, and manufacturing operations throughout the facility.
To help Cornet maintain its relocation schedule and minimize disruptions to production, Interplan developed a strategic phased approach focused on key areas of the building. The team coordinated layouts for existing and new manufacturing equipment, incorporated flexible power distribution, and completed extensive life safety, accessibility, and hazardous materials code reviews. The completed facility supports Cornet’s expanding engineering, product development, manufacturing, testing, and customer support operations while providing the flexibility needed for continued growth.
