What We Do

Interplan transformed the exterior of Park 97 in Glen Burnie, MD, giving the existing retail center a fresh, contemporary look. The street-facing façade was re-clad with all new materials, parapet heights were raised, and new sidewalk pavers were installed around existing planter beds to create a more welcoming pedestrian environment.

Attention to detail was central to the renovation, with thoughtful updates that elevate the plaza’s overall appearance. Columns were refreshed with a combination of ledge stone and thin brick veneer, while new lighting was introduced throughout the breezeway and along the exterior to enhance visibility and ambiance. The existing brick façades at the retail fronts were painted, and the arched breezeway ceiling was repaired and refinished to complement the renewed palette. Across seven bays, three distinct façade styles bring variety and rhythm to the design—balancing texture, tone, and proportion for a streetscape that feels both modern and enduring.
